Our Story

Our customers are family

For years my mother, Shirley Witherington and I would speak of starting a restaurant together. (She taught me almost everything I know about cooking). Me running the business side and her running the cooking side.

My mother went home to Jesus in 2019.

I am opening this restaurant in her honor. Make no mistakes, SHE is the owner.

I want to give everyone here in Hillsboro the warm feeling of a great comfort meal, in a family location.

Our goal is to not only offer quick sandwiches and subs…. But also a meat and two or three plates. Drink included. Everything from fried chicken and meatloaf to homemade soups and chilies. Biscuits and gravy and country fried steak breakfasts etc. It will be a different menu every day for the plate meals and the subs and sandwiches will be available from lunch to dinner. We aim to be located in downtown Hillsboro, if all goes as planned, and will be trying to offer Door Dash and other delivery options.
